The talented chefs at The Manor have creatively crafted a romantic, 6-course Valentine’s menu designed around the ‘Six Degrees of Love’ where temperatures rise from 0 to 100 degrees over a luxurious dinner for two. Recently recognized for its distinctive design by the Hong Kong Restaurants Interior Design Awards, The Manor is the perfect backdrop to celebrate Valentine’s week from 10 – 18 February.
The six-course dinner begins with the “first encounter”. At 0 degrees, the very first dish – Gillardeau Oyster with Tequila Lime Granite and Cucumber – is frozen in time, back to when the couple first met.
The temperature then rises to 38 degrees as the relationship warms. Tuna Tataki with Citrus Ponzu Sauce and Wasabi Cream is the perfect dish to capture this moment in time.
As the relationship intensifies, so too does the temperature of the next dish. The Slow Cooked Egg with Purple Potato Soup rises to 63 degrees and warms the soul before moving on to the 85-degree Beef Short Rib and Brussel Sprouts with Amedei Chocolate and Chili.
Temperatures rise to their highest levels when the Confit Duck and Salted Duck Egg Yolk with Crisp Taro Pastries is presented to the couple at 100 degrees.
The pièce de résistance is the mouth-watering dessert – Baby Pears Poached in Red Wine with Honeycomb Ice Cream and Warm Chocolate “Moelleux”.
And, in another salute to Valentine’s Day, The St. Regis Bar is offering “Luscious Pair” cocktails for couples to enjoy all throughout the month of February. Made with orange-infused gin and champagne with a fruity palette of orange, strawberry, peach and apple flavors, these refreshing cocktails are a reddish-pink color, the perfect toast to Valentine’s. The St. Regis Bar will be serving “Luscious Pair” from February 1 to February 28 for just MOP/HKD 168++.
The “Six Degrees of Love” set dinner for two is available from February 10 to 18 at The Manor for MOP/HKD 2,188+. SPG members enjoy a 20% discount.
