Conrad Macao Launches ‘PINK Inspired 2017’

CONRAD MACAO, COTAI CENTRAL

Conrad Macao, Cotai Central will once again launch its ‘PINK Inspired 2017’ campaign with a series of PINK experiences and collectibles throughout October, in support of Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution, an annual campaign that raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research. To support this campaign for the fifth successive year, Conrad Macao has pledged to donate a portion of its proceeds to the fund as a Ruby sponsor, including sales of its iconic bear and rubber duck – both of course, in limited edition pink. This year we are also proud to announce a partnership with luxury watchmaker Longines who generously donated two signature timepieces for the Pink Inspired 2017 Campaign.

Throughout October the campaign will turn the hotel, along with all its floral arrangements and decorations, into a passionate pink. We will also launch ‘PINK Fridays’ where staff and management will be adding a dapper dash of pink to complement their stylish uniforms as well as emails and handwritten guest cards.

“Breast cancer is the most prevalent form of cancer among women, regardless of age, in both developed and developing countries,” said Bede Barry, General Manager of Conrad Macao, Cotai Central. “With this in mind, we are humbled and honoured to once again lend Conrad Macao’s support as a Ruby Sponsor this year to this remarkably meaningful campaign. We are fortunate to have countless caring team members, management staff and guests to aide in raising awareness of breast cancer and donations to support the services offered by Hong Kong Cancer Fund. In addition, we will also be supporting Associação de Feliz Paraíso, a local Macao charity organization established in 2014 by cancer patients, their family members and local medical professionals here in Macao that provides cancer education to local communities.”

For the past four years Conrad Macao has enlisted the support of a number of international and local celebrities to help drive the cause, including renowned dog trainer Cesar Millan, Korean actor Jung Suk Won and Korean actress Carla Lee. Other stars taking part this year will be revealed throughout the campaign.

Guests can participate in PINK Inspired 2017 by making a MOP 10 donation upon check-out, enjoying a PINK Inspired Afternoon Tea experience or PINK spa treatment or purchasing the hotel’s iconic bear or rubber duck in limited edition PINK design. The hotel’s award-winning signature restaurant Dynasty 8 is also offering a special PINK menu. A portion of all proceeds from PINK Inspired 2017 experiences and merchandise will be donated to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund and local charity Associação de Feliz Paraíso.

Conrad Macao guests also have the option of adding MOP 10 to their room bill which will be donated in whole to the Fund, and will receive a PINK ribbon to add to the hotel’s topiary tree.
